She previously served as the Managing Director, Higher Education at Franklin Covey -- a trusted global, leadership and performance management company committed to enabling greatness in people and organizations through the establishment of trust and inspire leadership strategy and execution. Moore joined the Franklin Covey team to bring broader solutions to the higher education market for improved performance results, cultural transformation and institutional relevance for the greater good.
Moore is widely known as a seasoned University Administrator and Organizational Change Creator focused on institutional & individual growth and has 25 years of global experience producing results at some of America’s most relevant higher education institutions. A known collaborator in the States with an international network that spans parts of India, China, Africa and Latin America. Moore’s passionate commitment to education has driven her to create entrepreneurial endeavors in educational consulting and program development in order to enable access and opportunity for all. Moore has robust professional experience in Leadership Development, Marketing, Recruitment/Sales, and Academic Program Development (online and onsite) and has been instrumental in the launch of new programs at several institutions. She also has deep experience in College Admissions (undergraduate and graduate), Teaching/Instruction (onsite/online, graduate, undergraduate, executive education), Fundraising & Alumni Affairs, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). Moore has served at the Vice President, Dean, Assistant/Associate Dean, Executive Director, Sr. Director and Director levels at some of America’s best colleges including: American University, Babson College, Boston University, Brandeis University, College of Notre Dame of Maryland, Florida International University, Georgetown University, Johns Hopkins University, Trinity Washington, and the University of Maryland College Park.
Prior to joining Franklin Covey, Moore recently worked with Trinity Washington University as the Vice President of Marketing & Outreach during its 125th year anniversary and worked to create a new relationship with career-readiness provider, INROADS – a national leader in positioning and preparing underrepresented students for engaging careers in top industries. Immediately prior to her service at Trinity Washington, Moore served as the Associate Dean for the Online MBA at the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. The Online MBA (OMBA) at Boston University received great recognition and honor for disrupting the Business School market with an AACB accredited, integrated curriculum offered “at-scale” to a global, mid-level manager market at an affordable price. Moore held sr. leadership positions at three known Business Schools: Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, Babson College and finally Questrom School of Business. Moore’s work has always existed at the intersection of education, career-readiness, leadership, marketing, and access.
As founder of High Aspirations Moore has consulted with institutions in Chicago (University of Illinois Urbana Champagne), Maryland (University of Maryland College Park, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Mount St. Mary’s, and Notre Dame of Maryland), Washington, DC (Georgetown University) and Florida (Florida International University) as well as the Dept. of Labor, Licensing and Regulations) and several non-profit groups.
Moore holds a Doctorate degree from the University of Pennsylvania where she earned distinction. Moore completed the Institute for Management & Leadership at Harvard University in 2010 and the Fundraising Institute at Dartmouth College. Moore is an alumni interviewer for undergraduate admissions at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) and recently completed a two-year term on the alumni board at UPenn. Moore serves on the Board of Visitors at Bowie State and currently serves on the Alumni Association Board at Salisbury University.
Moore holds an undergraduate degree (B.A.) in Communication Arts & Marketing from Salisbury University, and a master’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. Prior to completing the Ed.D., Moore also completed doctoral coursework in a PhD program at the University of Maryland in Education, Policy and Leadership (EDPL) in the College of Education. Moore is a greenbelt in Lean Six Sigma with certification from Villanova University. Moore lives in the Greater Washington, DC area.
